Today’s maze celebrates “Love Your Pet Day,” and features my youngest daughter and her pet “Black Doggie.” Black Doggie is her plush puppy but is a very real part of our family.
B.D. as he is sometimes called, isn’t the only pet in our family. We also have our cat Mittens. 
Mittens has also been featured in past MazeToons, though, like BD the dark coloration of his fur poses a problem in my mazes. I usually make the path avoid him when he is a central character in the maze. Despite having to use a work arounds when featuring them, our family pets are just too big an inspiration to not include in a few mazes now and then.
