I am sure there are a lot of kids out there perplexed by today’s maze featuring a cockroach who works for Kafka Inc! Well as you may have guessed today would be the 135th birthday of author Franz Kafka. His most famous work is Metamorphosis. It has arguably one of the greatest opening lines in the history of literature- “As Gregor Samsa awoke one morning from uneasy dreams he found himself transformed in his bed into a gigantic insect.”
