Ask Me Anything about being a syndicated cartoonist, published artist and master maze maker.
Joe Wos is a nationally syndicated cartoonist and master maze artist. His feature MazeToons appears in newspapers nationwide and is distributed by Creators Syndicate. He has also created several books of mazes published by Barron’s Educational Books including the popular Myths and Monsters: 50 Mazes for Kids andA-Maze-Ing Animals: 50 Mazes for Kids.
Upcoming books for 2018 include Maze-O-Zoic: 50 Dinosaur Mazes, and A-Maze-Ing America: 50 Mazes of the 50 States.
Joe is also the co-author of the upcoming book A Celebration of Animation: The top 100 animated TV characters, from Rowman and Littlefield publishing.
Joe also created the record setting world’s largest hand-drawn maze and tours nationwide performing as a cartoonist and storyteller. He has also performed live with orchestras throughout the nation illustrating alongside the musical performances.
Joe has been the visiting resident cartoonist of the Charles M. Schulz Museum in Santa Rosa, CA since it’s opening 15 years ago.
For 7 years Joe was the founder and executive director of the ToonSeum, Pittsburgh’s museum of comic and cartoon art. He left to pursue his life long dream of syndication.
