One of my major influences was Jim Henson. While he is obviously best known as a puppeteer, he was also a talented cartoonist. In many ways his puppets were “live action cartoons”. You can see his influence in the way I draw monsters. This maze incorporates both some monsters and an abstract design. This is an example of a maze where I just started drawing and really had no idea what I was going to make. The design came first and then I decided to add in the characters to brighten it up a bit.
