For Authors Day, November 1st, I decided to draw a maze tribute to Edgar Allan Poe. I’ve always enjoyed his work and he makes a great subject for a maze.

This is not the first time he has featured in one of my works though!!! Long long ago I created a Poe themed maze for a dear friend of mine. As you can see it’s definitely much older and in a bit of a more primitive style from my current work. Mixed into the maze are a selection of images from his stories. How many can you identify? It may be time for me to rework this maze and update it… stay tooned. One of my ideas for a book is called Famous Faces, and it would feature famous artists, authors, and historical figures illustrated in maze form. Hopefully I will get around to that one someday soon.
