October 11th is 
Myths and Legends Day. I’ve always enjoyed mythology, legends and lore. I spent most of my life performing as a storyteller and would often share these classic traditional tales with my unique illustrated twist. I am currently working on the latest book of MazeToons mazes: A-Maze-Ing Monsters and Myths, from Barron’s Publishing. So I will have a chance to explore of lot of different myths in that book.
My favorite piece in mythology is of course the story of the Minotaur and the Labyrinth. It also features the parable of Icarus and his wings made of wax. I used that as the idea for today’s MazeToons.
