I’ve always had a great appreciation for custodians. My grandfather was the custodian at my elementary school. He had made a file cabinet out of old olive oil cans by cutting them and keeping the handles intact. That make shift cabinet was filled with pencils! Every single one he had found over a decade or more.

You can always count on the school custodians to have pencils. That’s my handy tip for kids in school!
