There is a biblical quote about being a prophet in your homeland- “A prophet is not without honour, but in his own country, and among his own kin, and in his own house.”
I often will say “You know what they say about being a prophet in your homeland, you can’t make a profit in your homeland!”
MazeToons runs throughout the US, and my books have become national best sellers but in my hometown MazeToons does not run in any of the papers despite frequent attempts and emails from residents etc…
